Our team
Olivia Brown, MPH, CHES (she/her) is a public health educator, storyteller and cultural commentator, and event producer based in Chicago, IL from Miami, FL. Her work interrogates our relationships with the spirit, the self, the social and the systemic. Using pop culture and surrealism, as tools for education online and in person, Olivia’s work is to inspire a future where Black, queer, femmes experience joy, safety and liberation.
Olivia’s teaching and artistic practice work to disrupt and destroy systems of anti-blackness and colonialism, and promote revolutionary behavior change, especially among Black, queer, femmes. Her work spans mediums to show how we can challenge and subvert those systems—using art, joy and communal care—to build power.
