Donation & Refund Policy

Effective Date: January 2025

Thank you for supporting Social Resonance Lab (“SRL”). Your contributions make our work possible.

1. Tax-Deductible Status
Social Resonance Lab is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by U.S. law. EIN: 33-4904782

2. Use of Donations
Donations are used to further SRL’s nonprofit mission, including research, community programming, ethical storytelling projects, and operational support. Unless restricted by the donor and accepted by SRL, all gifts are treated as unrestricted.

3. Refunds
Donations are generally non-refundable. Refunds may be granted only in cases of error (e.g., accidental duplicate donation, incorrect amount). Requests for refunds must be submitted within 30 days of the donation by emailing info@socialresonancelab.org.

4. Recurring Donations
If you set up a recurring donation (for example, via Substack), you may modify or cancel your contribution at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.

5. Third-Party Processors
We partner with trusted payment processors (such as Zelle and Stripe) to securely process contributions. SRL does not store full credit card or banking information.
